Jackie Cotter, RN
Charge Nurse, Residential Care
Jackie moved around the U.S. with her family throughout her childhood, until settling in North Carolina. There, she attended North Carolina State University and graduated with a BS in Biomedical Engineering, and MS in Bioprocess Engineering with a minor in biotechnology. She also participated in two national championships in women's rugby. After leaving North Carolina, she brought her partner and sister to Seattle where she spent some time working in the biotech and pharmaceutical world where she enjoyed the research and long days, but found she generally prefers taking care of people rather than reactors. She discovered BBH as a volunteer opportunity while in nursing school, instantly fell in love, and could not be happier working here as an RN and now charge nurse. At BBH she is helping to lead the skin committee and continues to place priority on continuing her education and growth to be a valuable team member.
