Community donations support vital care that transforms the lives of Bailey-Boushay House clients. The stories below illustrate a few of the ways these gifts make a world of difference.

Making Our Work Possible During the Hardest Times

Bailey-Boushay House was founded at the peak of the HIV/AIDS pandemic to offer compassionate care to those who couldn’t find it anywhere else. It was eerily familiar when another pandemic swept through Washington, but our team took quick action to protect our community from COVID-19.

Doubling the Impact of Donations

When Bailey-Boushay House made the call for donations to help serve our community during the COVID-19 pandemic, our donors’ response was stronger than ever: Our community gave nearly $30,000 to support our work. One couple, Dan and Cindy Brettler, went the extra mile in their support: They offered to match any gift up to $10,000. Learn how their gift doubled the impact at BBH.

Generous Support from SanMar

The SanMar Corporation, an Issaquah-based supplier of uniforming apparel and accessories, made BBH the beneficiary of their employee giving campaign last year. Employees from across SanMar — even those who work in other states — donated to this campaign, resulting in a generous gift to BBH.
